Asset Tokenisation
Asset tokenization is the process of digitizing real-world tangible and intangible assets. Tokens are the broken down digitized version of the real-world assets.
Generally speaking, a single token represents partially the digitized asset which also means the ownership of such token is a representation of part ownership of a greater digital asset. Therefore, token ownership also grants the owner various rights including ownership rights.
The application of asset tokenization is virtually infinite. Literally all things exist in the fabric of reality can be tokenized and then broken down into tokens. Therefore, asset tokenization is popular amongst assets heavy industries such as real estate, art, scarce resources and also financial instrument dependent industries such as securities, commercial banking and investment banking amongst many other more.
